Who can benefit?

The main beneficiary of a family with a poverty line score of 0 to 20 (male or female) is entitled to benefit if the death occurs naturally or accidentally.

The deceased male or female must be above 18 years of age and under 30 years of age.

Must apply within 3 years of death.


What are the benefits?

Once the main earner's family dies, Rs. 50,000 / - is provided through DBT (Direct Account Deposit).

Where to get the application form

The application form is available free of cost at the following office.

District Collector's Office.

Province Office.

Taluka Mamlatdar Office and Public Service Center.

V.E.C Co. of Gram Panchayat Center. Online application can be made on Digital Gujarat Portal from the operator


Where to apply?

Under this scheme, application has to be made to the concerned Taluka Mamlatdar for all urban or rural areas.

The amount of assistance to the beneficiary is credited to the beneficiary's account by DBT. Is submitted by.

 

Note: - Taluka Mamlatdars have the power to sanction the amount under this scheme.

Sankat Mochan Kutumb Sahay Yojana provides assistance of Rs. 20,000 / - to poor families in case of death of the main breadwinner due to natural or accidental disaster.  Financial assistance is provided


 Who can take advantage


 Families living below the poverty line will be able to avail the benefits of this scheme


 Under this scheme, the main breadwinner of the family, whether male or female, dies due to natural causes or accident.


 How much benefit can be obtained


 Assistance of Rs. 20,000 / - in case of death due to natural causes. Assistance of Rs. 20,000 / - in case of death due to accident. Assistance of Rs. 20,000 / - is credited to direct bank account.  With the resolution of 2-2014, the amount has been increased to Rs. 50,000


 Who will get the benefit


 B.P.L.  Scores of 0 to 20 are the main earners in the family, whether male or female, in case of death, accident or natural calamity, their age should be more than 18 years and less than 70 years.  Applicant for eligibility of BPL as per the guideline of Government of India  The beneficiary should be a B.P.L.  Must be registered as a beneficiary


 The process of benefit


 Postmortem report of the injured person, police complaint, copy of Punchnam is to be attached with the application form. Any person or applicant as the head of the deceased family has to apply and consent of all the family members.  The definition of family for the purpose of this scheme includes husband, wife, minor children, unmarried daughters and dependent parents.


 How to apply


 For urban area which has to be applied in the provincial office of that area. For gram panchayat area under this scheme application has to be made to the Deputy District Development Officer.  The above officer has the power to approve the assistance under this scheme and the application form will also be available from his office.


 The following evidence must be attached


 Proof of Death Birth Certificate of the deceased Aadhar Card Inheritance Form Bank Passbook 0 to 20 Score B.P.L. Card Specimen
