How to appy online ?

Important Instructions to be Considered by the Candidate while Applying Online: The details filled by the candidate in the online application form will be considered final for the entire recruitment process and its proof will have to be submitted in original (including certified copies) when requested by Rajkot Municipal Corporation.  If there is any change or discrepancy in the details and proofs filled in the online application form during the verification, the candidature will be considered void.  

Non-reserved and non-reserved women candidates will have to deposit Rs.500 / - (five hundred) for examination fee and other category candidates will have to deposit Rs.50 / - (two hundred and fifty full) for examination fee only online from the website of Rajkot Municipal Corporation.  This application fee will be accepted only through online net banking.  After paying the application fee, the candidate has to keep his / her application number and transaction ID. No refund will be given after paying the application fee. Application without payment will be canceled.  Candidates who do not pay the application fee will not be allowed to sit in any of the written examination screening test / oral interview which will be prescribed by the Appointing Officer.  

The candidate has to keep more copies of the passport size photograph which he has uploaded in the online application form, and the same photograph must be taken at the time of recruitment process (written exam interview etc.).  If any candidate makes more than one application for the same post, the power to decide on the cancellation of their application will rest with the Rajkot Municipal Corporation.  Age, qualifications and related matters will be considered as valid on the last date of acceptance of online application.  If the grade is indicated in the marksheet, degree certificate, then the conversion table of the recognized university in its equivalent percentage will have to be presented. 

 Employees on duty in Rajkot Municipal Corporation will have to submit last month's pay slip at the time of verification of original certificates.  In addition, a copy of the promotion or selection order must be submitted if more than one position has been filled.  The candidate of reserved caste will have to submit the certificate issued by the competent officer of the Government as per the sample prescribed by the Government of Gujarat regarding his caste.  Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Social Educational Backward Classes, A.N.V.  In case of no candidates, a waiver of five (5) years will be given in the upper age limit.  On the basis of the above caste certificate issued by a state other than the state of Gujarat, no benefit will be eligible for the reserve. 

 As per the rules, women candidates will be given a relaxation of five (5) years in the upper age limit.  Whether the candidate of reserved caste of original Gujarat has to apply on reserved seat or on non-reserved seat?  It should be clearly stated in the online application form and if the candidates of reserved caste originally from Gujarat apply for non-reserved seats, then the applicable rules and regulations applicable to such candidates will be applicable for non-reserved seats.  Subsequent sub-change of category will not be accepted in the caste (category indicated by the candidate in the online application). For Socially and Educationally Backward Class Candidates *  

Certificate as per Appendix-A prescribed by resolution no. Or as per Appendix-2 prescribed by the resolution dated 3/06/2018 has to be submitted.  If such a certificate is submitted, they will not be entitled to the benefit of the reserve.  Applications will be considered invalid and they will not be considered even against non-reserved seats.  Candidate should have a certificate of not being included in the advanced class given by the competent authority as per the resolution of the Government from time to time. 

 If a woman candidate wants to apply in the name of her husband instead of her father, she will have to submit a copy of the marriage registration at the time of verification of the original certificates.  It is mandatory for the candidate to write his / her mobile number in the appropriate place in the online application form, on which a message regarding future recruitment can be given.  Rajkot Municipal Corporation will not be responsible for the message not reaching the candidate whose correct mobile number is not written.  No written correspondence will be sent to the candidates regarding the recruitment process for the above posts.  

Candidates are requested to visit the Rajkot Municipal Corporation's web site http://www.rmc.gov.in from time to time for information regarding further recruitment process for this post.  Submission to change the written examination center and venue of the candidate under any circumstances will not be accepted.  Candidates will have to appear for the written test interview on their own.  The rights of the selection process shall be vested in the Staff Selection Committee / Municipal Commissioner of Rajkot Municipal Corporation as determined by the competent authority and the decision of this committee / Municipal Commissioner shall be final.  

The appointment of the selected candidate will be subject to the conditions decided by the authority.  If the candidate has misrepresented any of the details in the online application or is found to be incorrect at any stage of the recruitment process, his / her application will be rejected even if his / her application has been rejected at that stage and he / she has passed the passing standard.  As well as future candidates
