 Due to the poor economic and social condition of the Scheduled Castes, the students with a bright career of the Scheduled Castes are not able to go abroad for higher studies, so a loan of Rs.

 Terms and Conditions

•  Must be a native of the state of Gujarat. 
• Those who have obtained 50% or more marks at the undergraduate level should be given loan for post graduate, PhD, or higher level research and computer field courses.  The benefit of the scheme can be given to the daughter-in-law but is available to only one person per family. No income limit.  
• But the recovery of the loan has to be completed within 10 years. After the principal amount is repaid, the interest has to be recovered accordingly. 
• The beneficiary has to start the course within one month from the date of receipt of the loan money.  In addition, the beneficiary has to obtain quarterly report of the progress of his course from the concerned educational institution and submit it regularly to the Director, Scheduled Caste Welfare, Gujarat, Gandhinagar. 
•  Beneficiary will have to submit two valid guarantees. While going abroad, 5th applicant will have to submit passport, student visa, letter of admission in a recognized university abroad, etc.  
• Should not have been done. After passing standard 10, ITI has done an accredited course of two years or more and for that NCVT or GCVT exam for that.  
• Students who have passed the Std. Of Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board according to their choice.  Students who pass the English subject examination of 12th or Gujarat Online School Examination will be considered as equivalent to Std. 12 for the purpose of admission in higher secondary education courses. 
• Students who have done three year diploma course in Std.  19 will be considered equivalent. 
• Approval action will be taken only after submission of visa and air ticket.
