Earlier also the first B.T.  The cotton variety was put on the market.  The three states of India are Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat.  Cotton is produced by farmers.  The current situation is that in all the three states, B.T.  The black market has heated up as the area under cotton has increased.  B.T.  Cotton seed patents are held by foreign companies.  Therefore, these companies provide BT to the farmers of these three states.  Encourages the production of cotton seeds.

  Farmers also produce seeds but the company pays a small amount to the farmers and buys these seeds and sells them directly in the market with the company's brand.  The company takes the hard earned money of the farmers as full profit.  Due to widespread dissatisfaction of farmers, these companies have now persuaded the Home Governments of the three states to fix a price.

 High-level B.T.  There is an urgent need to come up with a master plan on how to raise the living standards of farmers rather than discussing the prices of cotton or other agricultural products.  India is an agricultural country and there is not a single big industry like agriculture in India.  Today the waist of this industry is broken.  This industry needs to be revived and this industry will only come alive when the aggression of foreign companies is reduced. 

 Only if the government and farmers have to stay away from the enticing packages of foreign lending companies will our traditional farming system be revived and our farming industry thrive again.  At present, due to the changes taking place in the environment in the face of global warming, each country is formulating its own 'action plan' and it is necessary to consider the effects of Bt on the environment.  Based on a comparative study of the soil, it was found that the soil under Bt cotton deteriorates and the biological processes in it slow down over time. In addition, other crops grown in such land require more water.  

Well, the question here is not just about Bt eggplant, but if Bt eggplant enters the market, then the company is preparing to launch another fifty-five Bt seeds of vegetables in the market.  There is no doubt that there will be nothing but poison that will harm the new generation coming along with the existing one.

On the one hand a company like Monsanto is keen to give Bt seeds to farmers while on the other hand some progressive farmers are experimenting with using their own grown seeds.  A farmer in Rajkot district has experimented with in-ground ripening of potatoes on a 'well' outside the ground.  They have been sent to Saurashtra University's Department of Biotechnology and a laboratory in Delhi to analyze the potatoes ripening on the vine.

 When dug, the inside turns green but tastes exactly like the original potato. Of course, this potato is not as toxic as Bt eggplant, but the natural cycle should not be disturbed by a single rotation.  A balance is being maintained. Now if the underground crop is taken out of the soil or Bt seeds are widely used, we should not forget that there is a definite disruption in this cycle of events which can have opposite effects.  If we continue to disturb the natural balance, the black-headed man will not even know when the fog fell on his feet!
